- That there would be a multiplication of Christian witness among those who saved.
- That God would stretch for his hand with signs and wonders to confirm the witness of his followers.
- That the increased Christian witness and new salvations would result in an overflow of praise and thanksgiving to God.
Come Pentecost, a helpful guide will be provided to assist you in praying for and witnessing to friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, and possibly others. In anticipation, please join your Intercessor family in laying the groundwork in prayer, using the above weekly themes during times of personal and corporate prayer.

rooted as disciples and bear fruit that accompanies an abiding faith in Jesus.
- For the impact upon marriages and families as a result of new salvations.
- For the Church, that is would it be renewed in mind and heart to be measures of salt and beacons of light for the least, lost, and lonely.

- Of relationships of returning prodigals to separated family and friends.
- Of relationships of those who convert to Christ, for the relational losses and gains they experience as they turn to faith in Christ Jesus.
- For the Church, that there would be reconciliation of relationships between fighting and divided Christians as a witness of truth and love
Operation Andrew – Week 2 Prayer Theme
Prayer Theme Week Two – Return
- Of those who were baptized as infants, that the Lord would draw them to return
to Him, and release the anointing of grace upon them
- Of those who are prodigals, who grew up in the church, but left at some later age.
- Of those who have wandered from the faith and have lost hope, perhaps even offended by the witness of the Church.
- For the Church that we would be filled with the desire to see the lost found.
Operation Andrew – Week 1 Prayer Theme
How many people have you witnessed to in the last year, 5 years, ever? No need to answer out loud…just preparing you for Operation Andrew, to begin on Pentecost.
Church of the Intercessor will launch a prayer-evangelism outreach on Pentecost, called Operation Andrew, which will facilitate praying for specific people to the end that they will also be open to your witness of Christ and invitations to Intercessor. To lay the groundwork in prayer, we will introduce a prayer theme each week up until the Feast of Pentecost.
In doing this we will also be joining in with hundreds of other churches throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut who are praying for revival.
Prayer Theme Week One – Repentance
- Of those who have never known Jesus as Lord and those who have become prodigal sons and daughters.
- Of family members, neighbors and co-workers; friends and enemies alike.
- Of those holding other beliefs: Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Bhuddist, New-Age and other Pagan religions…
- Of atheists and agnostics
- And for our hearts – that they would be opened and emboldened by the love of God
