It is with great excitement that we announce the ordination of Dcn Nicolas Navarro to the order of Priest.
Dcn Nicolas assumed the duties of Assistant pastor to Fr Brett on 1 Sept 2023 and has committed to working full time to help us Love God, Love People, and Build Disciples.
Dcn Nicolas Navarro will be ordained on 21 Oct 2023, at 10 am at Intercessor Church in Malverne, New York. We encourage you to come and express your support for Dcn Nicolas and Nancy as they begin a new chapter in their lives.

Deacon Nicolas M. Navarro’s Biographical Sketch
Deacon Nicolas M. Navarro was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States at a very young age. He completed his Bachelor of Arts, at Nyack College in 1991 and his Master of Divinity with a concentration in Chaplaincy from Aidan University in 2021. He has been in Pastoral Ministry for 39 years, providing Pastoral Care, Christian Education, and Spiritual Guidance for the purpose of equipping people to improve their lives and pursue excellence. He also worked as a Bilingual Chaplain in Hospitals and Home Hospice in New York City, providing emotional and spiritual support to hospice patients, their loved ones, and members of the Interdisciplinary Medical Team. He has been married to Nancy for 45 years and has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. His great passion is in teaching the Word of God, training and equipping all those who, out of love and devotion for God, want to be formed into the image of Christ and build up His Kingdom. Deacon Nicolas and his wife Nancy have been part of the Church of the Intercessor since 2019, serving in the Music Ministry, Stephen Ministry, Liturgical Ministry, and Deacon.
