Why Give?
Giving is one part of the discipleship. Some find ‘Giving’ the hardest discipline and others find it the easiest. If you are struggling (debt, bills, or other concerns), we offer Ramsey+ for free (with no commitment to the program or to the church). We hope it will help remove financial stress from your life. Giving is a joyful and rewarding experience.
It is a way to show our love for God and for others. It is also a way to make a difference in the world. At Intercessor Church, we believe that giving is an important part of the Christian life. We encourage our members to give generously of their time, talents, and resources. We believe that giving is a privilege and an opportunity to grow in our faith.

FAQs
Why does the church talk about money so much?
The church really talks about giving. Giving reflects Christ’s nature; as we strive to become like Christ, we transform into his nature. Christ is a giver, so in time we become one also. The church talks about giving frequently because, like praying, it is a hard habit to enter into.
Why is Giving part of Discipleship?
When we give, we are not just giving to others. We are also giving to God. He sees our giving as an act of worship. When we give, we are saying that we trust Him and that we are grateful for all that He has done for us.
If Giving an Act of Faith?
Giving also helps us to grow in our faith. When we give, we are putting our faith into action. We are showing that we believe that God is able to use our gifts to make a difference in the world.
Is Money the only way we give?
There are many ways to give. We can give our time, our talents, and our resources. We can give to our local church, to charities, or to individuals in need. No matter how we give, we can be sure that God will use our gifts to make a difference.
